Welcome to Summerwood Shetland Sheepdogs
My name is Kerry Newcomb, and I am a Sheltie breeder in Southern Connecticut, in the coastal town of Stratford at the eastern edge of Fairfield County. I am a member of the Tri-State Shetland Sheepdog Club, where I currently serve as Treasurer.
As you can see, I have a very small group of dogs. All our Shetland Sheepdogs are beloved family companions as well as show dogs. Summerwood is a small hobby kennel, and I usually plan just one or two litters of Sheltie puppies a year. My goal is to produce healthy Shelties of high quality that embody the characteristics of the Shetland Sheepdog breed standard. We also offer stud dog service to approved bitches.
